Paywatch: Comparison of Salaries for JavaScript Technologies Ext JS, Angular JS & Node JS (September’16 Salary Report for Pune)

Hence, we have been bringing to you the salary report of few major JavaScript technologies in our recent articles. This month, Paywatch is doing a comparative study of salaries of three JavaScript technologies: Ext JS, Angular JS and Node JS.

Paywatch Salary Comparison Report for JavaScript Technologies (Ext JS, Angular JS & Node JS)

Team Paywatch studied the latest figures related to salaries of JavaScript developers with Ext JS skills, Angular JS skills and Node JS skills. We took out the data related to experience ranges 0 to 2 yrs., 2 to 4 yrs., 4 to 6 yrs. & 6 to 8 yrs. and analysed it. Our analysis is based on the current CTC  of JavaScript developers in Pune (source : Job portals). Since this data is changing every month due to the shuffling demand-supply equation in the job market, we are bringing you the latest salary report for the month of August 2016. We collect sample size which is large enough to give us a bell shaped distribution.

JavaScript Developers with 2 to 4 yrs. experience

JavaScript Developers with 6 to 8 yrs. experience

Paywatch Insights

  1. Irrespective of which technology they are proficient with, average salary range for all JavaScript developers is the same.
  2. 70% to 75% of the JavaScript developers with experience 2 to 4 yrs. get salaries between 3 L/a to 7 L/a.
  3. For experience of 4 to 6 yrs., 75% to 80% JavaScript developers get salaries between 5 L/a to 11L/a.
  4. Only 50% to 60% JavaScript developers with 6 to 8 yrs. experience bag salaries in average salary range of 7 L/a to 13 L/a.
  5. As experience increases, the average salary range widens.
  6. Average pay for the higher experience brackets (4 to 6 yrs. & 6 to 8 yrs.) shows that Node JS developers are paid more than Ext JS developers and Ext JS developers are paid more than Angular JS developers.
  7. However,average pay for 2 to 4 yrs. experience bracket shows that Ext JS developers are paid more than Node JS developers and Node JS developers are paid  more than Angular JS developers.
  8. Angular JS developers with 6 to 8 yrs. experience are in high demand as demonstrated by the skewness but since their supply is also high, hence the average pay gets low as compared to Ext JS developers ans Node JS developers.
  9. Node JS developers in the 4 to 6 yrs. experience bracket are also in high demand as demonstrated by skewness but their supply is low as compared to Angular JS developers, hence their average pay is also high.
