Paywatch Salary Jump Report for Node JS

Team Paywatch studied the latest figures related to salaries of developers with Node JS skills. We took out the data related to experience ranges 0 to 2 yrs., 2 to 4 yrs., 4 to 6 yrs. & 6 to 8 yrs. and analysed it. Our analysis is based on the current CTC and the actual offers in hand for the candidates who are serving their notice period just before joining their new company (source : Job portals) i.e. the real-time offers that companies are making to the Node JS developers in Pune. Since this data is changing every month due to the shuffling demand-supply equation in the job market, we are bringing you the latest salary report for the month of July 2016. We collect sample size which is large enough to give us a bell shaped distribution.

Increase in compensation of Node JS Developers

In the given graph, X-axis represents years of experience in range of two years and Y-axis represents percentage of salary jump from current salary to offered salary of Node JS Developers in Pune. Red bars indicates the percentage increment in compensation over current CTC for the Node JS developers in the given experience range.

According to this graph, the entry level Node JS Developers on an average get 68% increment over current CTC. Node JS Developers with 2 to 4 years experience get 67% increase in salary on changing job. The increase in salary for Node JS Developers in experience range 4-6 years is just 32% whereas the same for Node JS Developers with 6 to 8 years experience is just 31%.

  1. Most of the entry level Node JS developers get a salary hike between 2 L to 3 L over their current CTC on changing jobs.
  2. The maximum salary hike that an entry level Node JS developer gets on changing job is 5.8 L over current CTC.
  3. Most of the Node JS developers with 2 to 4 years of experience get a salary hike between 2.5 L to 3.5 L over their current CTC on changing jobs.
  4. Maximum jump in salary of a Node JS developer with 2 to 4 years of experience is 6 L over current CTC.
  5. Average salary jump for Node JS developers with 4 to 6 years of experience is 2.5 L over their current CTC.
  6. Maximum jump in salary of a Node JS developer with 4 to 6 years of experience is 5.65 L over current CTC.
  7. Most of the Node JS developers with 6 to 8 years of experience get a salary hike between 4 to 4.5 L over their current CTC on changing jobs.
  8. Maximum jump in salary of a Node JS developer with 6 to 8 years of experience is just 5.25 L over current CTC.
  9. Maximum salary hike on changing job is more for those Node JS developers with 2 to 4 years experience than Node JS developers in other experience ranges.
  10. The percentage salary increment over current CTC reduces as experience increases for Node JS developers in Pune.
